This document outlines the policies and guidelines for participants of the ISPRAZEM Internet Exchange Point (IXP). These policies ensure the secure, reliable, and efficient operation of our exchange point.
General Policy
ISPRAZEM operates as a closed Internet Exchange Point, providing secure interconnection services for directly connected participants. Our primary focus is on cybersecurity and BGP protection services, offering a secure environment for peering and traffic exchange.
Membership Eligibility
Membership to ISPRAZEM IXP is limited to organizations with a direct physical or logical connection to our infrastructure. We do not offer remote peering options. All prospective members must undergo a verification process to ensure compliance with our security standards.
Connection Requirements
Participants must establish a direct connection to our IXP infrastructure. We support various connection methods including dedicated fiber, metro Ethernet, and other secure connectivity options. All connections must adhere to our technical specifications and security requirements.
Routing Policy
ISPRAZEM implements strict routing policies to ensure the security and stability of our exchange point. All routing configurations must comply with industry best practices and our specific requirements.
Peering Arrangements
ISPRAZEM operates on an open peering model among participants. All members are able to peer with each other directly. We do not advertise our IXP network to any participant, maintaining strict isolation. Bilateral peering arrangements between participants are supported and encouraged.
Prefix Announcements
Participants may only announce prefixes that they are authorized to originate. All prefix announcements must be properly registered in the appropriate Regional Internet Registry (RIR) database. We implement strict prefix filtering based on IRR records and RPKI validation.
Security Services
ISPRAZEM offers specialized security services to protect participant networks from various cyber threats, with a focus on DDoS mitigation and BGP protection.
Blackholing Service
We offer individual blackholing services for participants. Blackholing is configured on a per-client basis and is not advertised between clients. This allows for targeted mitigation without affecting other participants. Participants can enable or disable blackholing for specific prefixes through our customer portal.
Traffic Scrubbing
Our traffic scrubbing service provides advanced DDoS mitigation by filtering malicious traffic while allowing legitimate traffic to reach its destination. This service is available on an individual basis and can be customized to meet specific security requirements. Scrubbing configurations are not shared between participants.
Regulatory Compliance
ISPRAZEM adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards to ensure the legal and ethical operation of our exchange point.
RIPE Compliance
We maintain compliance with all RIPE policies and requirements for Internet Exchange Points. Our operations are transparent and adhere to industry best practices. We regularly update our RIPE database entries and maintain accurate contact information.
Policy Violations
Violations of these policies may result in temporary or permanent suspension of services. ISPRAZEM reserves the right to take immediate action in response to activities that threaten the security or stability of the exchange point.
